Favorite NYC Activity: Spending hours digging through bins at the hoards of great vintage stores around the city. Also, taking advantage of all the amazing restaurants, such as The House in Gramercy Park.
Favorite Boutiques: Definitely vintage stores. I love Ono Relation- you’ll be amazed by what you can get for $10. Another favorite is Poppet in the East Village. The shop is adorable and they have vintage Chanel, Halston, YSL and Mary Quant. Aside from vintage, there are also a lot of hidden gems in the garment district, like Know Style on 34th where you can pick up cute party dresses for like $30.
Fashion Advice: Sometimes it’s not as much about mixing high-street names with basics as much as it’s about balance. Start with your statement piece and build around it. Whether it’s a dress, a bag, a chunky necklace- whatever it may be it’s about balancing that out with basics. Also, sometimes the best outfits come from pulling random things from your closet and creating a look from that.
